The Tragic Story Of Crypto Millionaire Fernando Perez Algaba
After more than a week missing, Fernando Perez Algaba was found dead earlier this week. In a gruesome twist, Police found his dismembered remains inside a suitcase near a stream in Buenos Aires.
This is obviously a very tragic and disturbing turn of events, and most news out there seems to be more fascinated with the manner of death, rather than the person behind the news. The purpose of this article is to understand who Mr. Algaba was, what was his involvement in cryptocurrency, as well as piece together the events that led to his death.
Mr. Algaba was a self-proclaimed rags-to-riches millionaire. He came from nothing and his first exposure to the world of business was delivering Pizzas and selling sandwiches in his hometown at the age of 14. With the money made there, he decided to start buying, repairing, and re-selling cars. This proved a very lucrative niche for Mr. Algaba who, by the age of 24 had a garage filled with expensive Sports cars. He seems to have had a good eye for business and re-investing profits into other sensible ventures and kept on growing his wealth.
He later opened a JetSki rental business in Miami and lived there for a while before permanently moving to Barcelona.
